Ate at a non- local store that was on the app, and they were so nice to convert my existing 5 stamps to the app. Imagine my surprise when in back at the normal store and find out that they dont use the app..... Yeap, 5 stamps down the drain/lost/thrown out, etc..........

I have the app, bought my meal, the restaurant has no bar scanner, so I thought I could use the receipt. No bar scanner on the receipt. So, evidently you discriminate against some users over others, by giving rewards only in areas you want. I thought my money was the same. Perhaps it is, but only some get rewards, not others. $25.07 and time downloading the app - wasted.

Ive used the app to place an order and with in store meal purchases, and my points stay at 20. Doesnt matter what I do or order, I cant earn points. Its a rip off!! I have asked the cashier about it, and she says it looks like it worked on her end, so the receipt doesnt print bar code, But within my app, the points NEVER go up. Something is wrong with the app!! Ive eaten there at least 5 times since using the app. Nothing changes. Its ridiculous. The app has my order history, so youd think Id get at least get points for that order, but no. And for the record, when ordering the salad, you have to click the box to get lettuce. No joke. I ordered the salad on the app and it came without lettuce. So beware, if you order salad on the app and want lettuce, check the dang lettuce box!

Hey Cafe Rio! How about the ability to load gift cards onto the app accounts?

Ive used the app without any problems at all in the past. Love having to only show my phone to earn and redeem point. However on my past two visits I have been unable to earn points at checkout. The scanner cannot scan the app and I have to manually type in receipt number. Would have given 5 stars if not for that.

If you go to redeem a reward at a location, Café Rio makes you as the user be responsible for ensuring their terminals can accept your rewards. Otherwise you lose it.

Planned our family dinner around the introduction deal after installing the app. Was told at checkout that they wont accept any deals on the app. Seems silly these days to have a corporate app not apply to all locations. Ended up paying dearly for dinner. Now whenever I think of going to lunch at cafe rio, I cant help but go somewhere else because of this bad experience

Tried to buy dinner using the free meal on the app only to get to the check out and have them tell me it wont work at their location. At least post a sign! If your going to operate and advertise this app then your locations better use it!

I havent tried to redeem anything yet, but I am surprised this doesnt work with Apple Wallet. I might have missed it, but I doubt it.

Its a flashy app with music, cheers, animations, etc. all of which are unnecessary and make this a large app.

Dont waste space on your phone for this app!!! I wouldnt even give it one star if I didnt have to! My whole family downloaded this app and was super excited to try it out, we got a few rewards for downloading it and headed out to a Cafe Rio near us by way of the map feature built within the app itself. Once arriving to this location, we were told that their location did not accept the app but were redirected to another location approximately 15 minutes away. We were a little discouraged but still excited to use the app, so we headed out to the next location only to be told again that they did not accept the app. So we went to the one last location (again 15 minutes away) only to be told that the app was a scam. Now we were hungry and angry! Not even sure we like cafe rio any longer! So unless you like apps that you can just look at, dont waste you time or phone space!!!

Im not sure how Apple let this app into the store. Its terrible. Doesnt recognize youre logged in. Very slow. Not sure I trust it to keep track of meals. I cant ever see my activity. Only good thing is meals are at the store when I pick up. Takes much longer to use the app than to just call the store.

Do not use this app. It does not give the store enough time to make the order before your expected arrival. Whether the workers were incompetent or the order did not transmit correctly, but our order was not correct. It is more time efficient to wait in their long line than expect your order to be ready on time.

Logged into app for the 1st time via Facebook, built my order at checkout app wouldnt let me proceed without creating an account. Earned a BOGO reward but local restraint wouldnt honor it. New app = broken

Crappy app that will give you coupons not accepted by Café Rio.

Cafe Rio is awesome! This app stinks! It crashes and if youre lucky enough to get it to process your order--Cafe Rio wont have the order ready in time. The app developer should be embarrassed by this app. Cafe Rio should hire whoever did the app for Chipotle. That app rocks!

Do not waste your time with this app, Cafe Rio has not planned ahead and somehow this app was approved without being implemented at the restaurants. It will offer you deals only to be told by your cashier that they dont support the app.

Great food, great idea, but rough attempt at mobile. An update would be great please.

Went to use the app to find out that my Cafe Rio doesnt use the app. Why have an app that doesnt work for your stores? I tried to use my free drink and redeemed it to find that they they "dont accept the scans". Thanks for the faux free drink Cafe Rio and better luck in the app development. No need to download the app at this time.

Would just say couldnt connect to server then crashes.
